Order Services Client Relations (OSCR)
Overview/Background
This project was the most fun I've ever had on a project. I was given a series of eight sections from a very long User Guide/ILT and I turned it into eight animated microlearnings with characters that mirrored the workforce. I made each character a specialist in each function of the department and used them as mentors to train the OSCR (pronounced Oscar) team.

Process (ADDIE)
These courses were designed to engage the learners and break away from the standard PDF culture used for years. The idea was to bring the old into the new, refreshing the materials and adding fun to the experience.

Action Map
The action map was relatively easy to put together, given that the sections and content already existed. I still like to do these as a visual for stakeholders and PMs. I typically create this and have a follow up meeting to the kickoff to see if I'm on track. This is a mockup of what all went into the courses. For example, What Services was in the Introduction.

Storyboard
I created a storyboard to reflect each section before creating the prototype. I created the storyboard with text and images to offer a more full effect of what the course would look and feel like. After a little back and forth I was able to proceed.

Prototype
The prototype was the actual introduction of the course. Most often content was updated and the characters and images remained constant.

Final Product
Once the prototype was approved, I continued to create the rest of the courses. Using the same process throughout.

Results & key points
This project allowed me to hone in on my Vyond skills and learn new skills with Murf AI. The voice overs were very easy to create and they sounded great. I didn't get one person saying that they sounded like they were computer generated.
The courses were well received, everyone loved the new approach and the enthusiasm spread to other departments.
